About Hypertufa...Hypertufa is man-made rock popular for making garden planters and ornaments. It is a substitute for Tufa which is a limestone rock found naturally. About me...My name is Terri Jones, and I have been crafting hypertufa since 2012. Being an avid gardener, I find that the garden is a "thin space"....a place one feels close to God and where one sees His word come to life. I love to garden without gloves, so that I feel the soil, plants and roots. I also enjoy adding garden ornaments to my outdoor rooms to add interest among the plants and flowers. It was only natural to combine these interests and begin creating hypertufa containers and accents for my garden and yours. For visual appeal, I like to incorporate leaves and petals into some designs so to reflect nature in the cured surface of the hypertufa. Some planters have a basketweave or honeycomb design. On the gallery page, you may view photos of various pieces I have created including spheres, terrariums, troughs, urns and the very popular shallow leaf dishes. Using the contact page, let me know of questions you may have or how I can help you with an accent for your garden!
